We carry a wide selection carefully curated books, including fiction, non-fiction, children's books, cookbooks, and more. While our selection is smaller than other bookstores, this is because we find books that best represent a variety of topics to help our customers find quality books that meet their interests.

We are a small business and strive to ship all orders within 2-4 business days. You will receive an email when your order ships.

Yes, we are always happy to do our best to accommodate our customers wishes. Depending on the book you would like it might take a bit longer to ship, but we will be upfront with you with a time estimate. We try to match the non-profit to the topic of the book you have ordered. Some organizations we support are:

BARCS (Baltimore's animal shelter)

NAMI Baltimore (National Alliance for Mental Illness - Baltimore Metro division)

The Trevor Project (A crisis hotline for LGBTQ+ youth)

Planned Parenthood (Provides affordable and attainable sexual health care)

We reserve the right to change the recipients, but we will update our website to include any changes.

The Kind in Kind Books is two-fold:

1. Refers to both the idea of book bundles and method of categorizing books by topic (they are books of a kind).

2. Refers to our goal of donating to charities, which allows our customers to do something kind for both themselves (by buying a book to enjoy) and for the world (buy supporting non-profits).

Books Bundles are pre-designed boxes with three+ books on a given topic and additional gifts related to that topic. Book bundles are great for those who like surprises or are new to a given topic but are interested in learning more through a variety of genres that focus on that topic. We have found that sometimes the best way to grow an understanding of a topic or even empathy related to that topic is through a combination of fiction, non-fiction and memoirs.

For example, our Social Anxiety bundle includes Yours Truly by Abby Jimenez and is a great way to see first hand how social anxiety affects day to day life, while also being a really great romance novel.
