You have two ways to shop with us:
Option 1: Choose the books you are interested in.
- If you purchase 3 or more books you get free shipping anywhere in the United States.
- For every three books you purchase you’ll get a gift that is on-theme with one or more of the books you chose. Some gift examples are a t-shirt (we’ll reach out to get your size preference), a journal, and even binoculars (for our bird-themed offerings).
Option 2: If you love surprises this is the perfect option for you. We have pre-designed book bundles in a variety of topics, choose the topic you’re interested in and we will include three pre-selected books, several on-theme gifts, a tote bag, and a scratch-off coupon code for a future purchase.
Why Shop With Us?
Although our selection is smaller than some other bookstores, we offer carefully curated options. If you are looking for a specific book, we may or may not have it, but if you are interested in exploring topics and reading a variety of genres within that topic, we’re the store for you.

Mental health related books have a donation go to NAMI Baltimore, LGBTQ+ related book sales will support the Trevor Project. Love animals and reading about them? Hello Reader!
I'm so glad you are visiting Kind Books! I am a passionate reader and want to spread the joy of a good book far and wide. I first came up with the idea for Kind Books after reading Yours Truly by Abby Jimenez. Her portrayal of social anxiety was the closest I've ever seen to my own experience. Her book is not advertised as being about social anxiety, but it is a perfect introduction to a greater understanding of that disorder. By categorizing books in a way that includes these underlying themes, I hope to introduce readers to a variety of genres with topics they care about.
